Every Now and Again, we will still hold our original Timed Auctions...

Our Timed Auctions open 7 days prior to the Auction Close date giving you plenty of time to view our online catalogue, make viewing appointments* and leave bids.

HOW TO BID

To place a bid, put your maximum bid into the value box corresponding to the lot you wish to bid on.

**Maximum bids cannot be reduced**

Where the amount bid is less than the reserve price on a lot, you will be notified that you need to increase your bid. Where your bid is higher than the reserve, the system will bring you straight in at the reserve. The system will then continue to bid to the next available increment, up to the maximum value bid. If you are outbid, you will be notified via email and asked if you wish to increase your maximum bid.

Please note, all bids are legally binding. Where the reserve on a lot is not met, the Vendor can still choose to accept your highest bid within 48hours post-sale.

All of your bids are available to view in your Account > My Bids section in the run up to and during the Auction.

'Timed Auction' - Closing Lots

Lots will close consecutively, from 8am on the Auction day, in staggered 30 second intervals.

Where a bid is placed within the final 5 seconds of the Lot closing, this will extend the Timer by an additional 15 seconds.

** All bids are legally binding. Where the reserve on a lot is not met, the Vendor can accept your highest bid within 48hours post-sale**

Once the Timer has finished for all Lots, invoices will be raised and emailed to the details provided.

Once your invoice has been paid your equipment will be available for collection from our site in Taunton. Purchases should be collected with 2 weeks of the sale date.

Buyers Premium

Our buyer commissions are the most competitive in the industry:

Where a lot sells for Less than £2000 you will be charged 8% commission +VAT

Where a lot sells for More than £2000 you will be charged 8% commission on the first £2,000 and then 2.5% commission on the balance + VAT

For Example:

Hammer Price = £10,000

First £2000 at 8% = £160

Remaining Balance at 2.5% = £200

Total = £10,360

PLUS 20% VAT = £12,432 total amount payable

Viewing Days

We do not offer a specific Viewing Day for our Buckets & Sundries Auctions.

However, please call 01823 211888 and we will look to accommodate.
